A Unit of the

1 / 14th Infantry Battalion

 

Sergeant William Johnson and his unit just deployed a short while ago.

He is one of our young men that reenlisted after having served his country already.

We will update you on the unit as more information and hopefully a picture will become available

C-BTRY 4-27 FA

 

1st Sergeant Jim Cabrera is on his second tour and arrived in Iraq at a Combat Outpost at the beginning of May.

He served last year with the 1C Battery 4-27 Field Artillery and we are happy to support him again.

His unit deployed from Germany and we hope to meet up with him when he returns after this tour

 

Update 07/02/08 Update

Jim informed us today that two Soldiers of the Brigade were lost during a small arms attack.

Please keep the families of our Heroes as well as the Brigade

in your prayers

Staff Sergeant Blanca Phelps made it back from her second tour in Iraq in January 2008.

Shortly after her return her husband, Gunnery Sergeant Christopher C. Phelps deployed. We are currently supporting his unit.

Delta Company, 3-8 Cavalry

A Tank Company

 

On tour in Iraq from November '06, Captain Matt Chitty and his unit made it back in late November '07.

The unit was stationed near Samarra, Iraq.

We thank the Captain and his unit for their Service

2nd Battalion, 7th Marines

 

2/7 H&S Company, Comm PLT

 

We did not receive confirmation or a picture but believe the 2/7 made it home in October of 2007

We received a message from MSG Jim Cabrera in February letting us know that the unit had returned to Germany.

(Unfortunally we do not have a picture)

1st Marine Logistics Group

 

The unit made it back at the beginning of February 2007.

Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division, 506th Military Transition Team (unfortunally we do not have a picture) made it home around November 2006.

The unit completed a 1 year tour training an Iraqi unit.

Since our first adoption we were able to send over 5,075 pounds thanks to your help.

We send three pairs of boots which you paid for with your donations. Only $68 will supply an Armed Forces Member with a new pair of boots. Please help us to support our troops in 2008.
